Silk Chevron Opera Scarf

Hubby received a generous gift from a kind friend so he asked a favor that I knit a scarf to gift back. After many pattern tries (six), I finally decided on Susan Ashcroft‘s Zig zag scarf (3 ways) with 100% silk Malabrigo YarnMora in colorways Pearl Ten and Piedras. Absolutely no regrets—Stitchnerd Designs patterns never disappoint.

This pattern was easy to memorize and I could enjoy watching tv while knitting it. The Mora looks fabulous in this pattern. I made one modification by squaring off the ends with garter stitch rows to make it a tad more masculine-looking. My project notes are here.

Hubby said the recipient LOVED his scarf and said the colors matched many things in his wardrobe. YAY! I love it when I make a good call on color and design!
