Murano Squares Shawlette

I always have some time between sample knitting for a small project to keep me occupied. Murano Squares by Susan Ashcroft suited this purpose well.

It also allowed me to knit with a beautiful skein of pinky-peachy yarn I received as a gift from Paris from my dear friend, Ann. It’s La Bien Aimée Merino Singles in colorway Pandemonium. The dark color, The Magellanic Cloud is of the same base and worked well with Pandemonium. The yarn is squishy and soft and makes a great shawlette to wrap around one’s neck.

Murano Squares, is a mosaic pattern and is quite easy to knit up. Adjustable, too, if you have more or less yarn available. You can find the pattern here.

This shawlette will either be gifted, or swapped in one of the swap groups on Ravelry. (I don’t typically wear the stuff I make.) My project notes are here.

Next up will be a hat, I think!
