Prairie Lace Shawl

I combined my LYS Day purchase from Trish at Yarn Social with Lesley Anne Robinson’s newest pattern out for her third installment of Mastering Brioche with Knit Graffiti online class, a two-color version of her Prairie Lace Shawl.

Great pattern with easy-to-memorize sections made it a quick brioche knit.

My version used Yarn Social’s kit for LYS Day, Matt’s Wild Cherry, which included La Bien Aimée BFL Tough Sock in colorway Dusk and The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Rocky Mountain Purls in colorway Sinopah. My project notes are here.

The Prairie Lace Shawl pattern includes decreases and increases that are normally found in brioche lace knitting and makes it interesting for both beginner and advanced brioche knitters. All the techniques can be learned in Lesley’s latest class, Mastering Brioche with Knit Graffiti here.

For more information about this 2-color or the 4-color version of Prairie Lace Shawl, visit Lesley’s pattern page here.
